If I just didn’t think about it, it was alright

No matter how far I go, I’m always still here

The positive mindset didn’t last long against the absolute shitshow of my habitual self talk

I had to go quite far just to feel a little better again

Upon reflection, we had a lovely time wishing things were different

The feelings on the inside and the outside were not quite the same

We tried our best but it just wasn’t up to scratch

It was clearly for the best if I just stayed out of my own head

I was starting to question what difficulty level I was playing on
